Think of it as a tower hat inspired off this picture. Credit for that goes to the original author, Agent Melon.
Making hats doesn’t seem as hard as I thought it would be. The hat itself it looks something like this:
Classy.
If you’re a server admin and you want to use this with the sourcemod equipement plugin, you can get this from here.
If you’re just a player and you want to replace your hats clientside, download the hat from here. Installation instructions included inside the readme file. Also up at FPSB.
An EP2 mod that centers around puzzles and killing enemies in unorthodox ways.
I can’t explain too much, but take it from me – if you like puzzles, you’ll love this mod. Actually, you’ll love it anyway. It’s freakin’ awesome.
Oh and that part where you THINK you have to use a barrel shield? You have to actually stack the light looking things near you on the container you just crossed. That’s pretty much one of the few puzzles that just doesn’t make sense.
A small reminder – the source mod known as Neotokyo will be released in soon. A week ago the developers announced that the mod is essentially done, however they “just got a few things to tidy up”.
For those of you that haven’t heard of this total conversion mod, please follow through this link for a rather atmospheric trailer. Neotokyo, which has been in development for a few years, will be available free of charge. After viewing the trailer, you probably won’t have any reasons not to try it out when it gets released.
The Johnny Bravo soundpack has only been circulating through the tubes for a few days, and already someone has made a Johnny Bravo tank skin for it. For the record, this is the first time I’ve seen someone make a mod for one of my mods.
If you haven’t already gotten the pack and the music in my first preview video was too loud, you can hear the tank soundfiles a lot better in Thunder’s video. That is, when guns aren’t being fired. In any case, the skin is up on FPSBanana.
So about a month ago my 8800 decided to fizz out on me, and the warranty took so long that I started recording soundclips from the second season of Johnny Bravo. Originally I wanted it to be a hunter soundpack, but that didn’t really work out in my head. The card’s still in warranty, I’ve no idea what they’re doing with it, but in the mean time I got a new 4850. But enough about that, download link and more info after the jump.
So with the recent major patch, valve added a red glow to critical kills in the death notices. I’ve heard some people think they look dull the way Valve designed them, so I decided to spice things up.
Since they’re kind of easy to make, you can post a crit icon request in the comments, and I’ll see what I can do about it. I will include it in the pack the next time I update it.
Also, latest update removed the overheal crosses on disguised/cloaked spies. Valve just critted my fun as a medic.
Update: FPSBanana also canned my less known tourettesguy soldier soundpack due to it being split into two parts. Since it’s so big I had no choice but to take it off their site.
You can download the archive here, and there’s installation instructions in the rar.
And if you’re wondering what other things I’ve skinned, check this, this and this out.
