For some reason an update for TF2 is out with a ton of buffs and nerfs for most classes. Long story short, pyro got nerfed, heavy got buffed, bonk got changed, targe’s direct hit got buffed, huntsman got buffed, and there’s a new item out for the scout called the crit-a-cola.
Here’s what they didn’t tell you. This is why I said they nerfed the pyro. While they buffed the airblast and nerfed the flamer, these changes apply to the backburner and flaregun too for some reason. Oh well.
Edit: Yeah, I know, engies are being dicks playing Sim City in 2fort and stuff like that right now.

Well if you’ve bought Shattered Horizon in the past and got a bit disappointed over the lack of updates they promised, worry no more, they’re pushing out a nice content update in the next few days.
Heck, the game looks nice being made by the guys that did Futuremark, but it feels like it lacks players sometimes.
Anyway, if you’re wondering what I’m up to, I’ll be doing a Bad Company 2 thing in the near future. I just have to get some unfinished business out of the way first. Other than that there’s not much going on right now.
In with the…I don’t like the new steam skin very much. I found a rather good user skin here. It’s got a few minor issues here and there but I prefer it to the default one.
Also, when I started this site I thought of it as a newsblog, expecting multiple people to work on it and add content, but it seems that didn’t work out very well. What I’m wondering is, would you, the user, prefer if I talked more about related stuff I’m interested at the moment, or would you prefer I kept blogging on about the Valvesphere, as I was doing up to this point?
Remember that fake engie update posted a while back? A video’s been released showing the Amplifier sort of working ingame. Wonder when this will be downloadable for server admins in Sourcemod script form…
Also, I seem to have missed a recent L4D2 blog post detailing achievements and a number of new gameplay mechanics. This new campaign just seems to get better and better.
EDIT: And an hour or two later, Valve drops a significant change to the drop system. More details on their blog. Idling will be a lot less useful now, and everyone that isn’t obsessed about models in a video game will now receive them more frequently. About time.
New blog post, big picture in the front, heavy and pyro wearing new hats. This means they added new hats into the game right?
To celebrate the release of The Penal Zone, the first episode in Sam & Max’s new adventure, The Devil’s Playhouse, the Telltale team has provided us with some awesome TF2 items. We’re going to give them out to everyone who buys The Penal Zone in the next week.
Okay Valve, that’s not funny, don’t do that.
They also nerfed the equalizer. At 200hp you’re still doing the damage you used to do, but now you do 113 damage at 1hp. Speed remains unchanged. Fun is in decline.
Remember those interactive videos you’d sometimes see on youtube? Someone’s made a TF2 version called “A Heavy’s 2fort Adventure”. You really should go see it.
Hey, some activity.Valve finally seems to have noticed the wonderful creations the community has been putting out lately, so they’re finally giving some recognition in their latest blog post.
Head on over there, there might be a few things you’ve missed, like that reproduction of those rather embarassing scout mom photos.
