We all know him- his strange stance, cigar case held high, oblivious to all that is happening around him. He is the spy crab, a harmless, innocent player who is only joking around, asking you to please let him be.

I have one policy against these spy crabs:
No one is safe- not even those who plead, uselessly, for me to leave them alone.

Remind me to keep away from you when I’ve been getting gibbed and roasted as soon as I leave my base and I resort to Spy-crabbing to attempt to get through people by making them laugh.

FAIL. TF2 stylised look clearly tells one thing:this is NOT a “WAR ZONE”. If you are looking for a “WAR ZONE”,you probably should go and play Red Orchestra. TF2 is designed to play and have fun – and if you are having fun by killing pretty much harmless crab spies,then you have to be really pissed off by them for some reason.

If you’re playing on a dm server/not serious server, then it’s alright. However, if someone’s being a crab on a srs bznz server, he’s being a waste of a teammate. Yeah, he’s having fun and all, but people will still kill him.

Go to a Party Mode’s, Low-grav, Instant Respawn 2fort match and spy crab around the bridge. I’ll be honest with you guys. You will get assholes chasing your ass down left and right. I had a medic with a full charge on a heavy leave his patient just to go needle me.
Even playing on a not serious server, your not going to get people to leave you be.

I’m all for Spy-Crabbing and Civilian Heavy on any server, I just expect to get killed at any time. I usually only intend to humor my teammates more often than the enemy. If the enemy can’t shoot me or get to me, THEN I spy-crab/civ-heavy.
Hell, I’d kill me if I saw myself spycrabbing around. I’d go spy and backstab myself, even IF its in the middle of a sentry farm.
